I will just briefly talk now as I will write an article to soonest on the subject "WE ARE GODS". But before that, let us just build our mentality around this because WE are a chosen generation.
As you all know that at a certain point in life, the son of a Goat is a Goat, the son of a Lion is a Lion, the son of Vulture is a Vulture, the son of a Cow is a Cow, the son of a Man is a Man, but when the Word of God in John 1:12-13 applies to you as it applies to me, then you will know that truly, the Son of GOD is GOD. ( But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:(13) Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God).
Jesus Christ asked the Pharisees a very simple question and one that could easily be verified. He asked them in John 10:34; “Is it not written in your law?” You see in this chapter the Jews were accusing Jesus of calling himself the Son of God and they called it blasphemy. But, Jesus responded to their accusation with a simple verifiable question. Doesn't your Law say that you are gods? In other words God had called you and I gods a long time before Jesus said He was the Son of God and we do not need to ignore it like some religious people still do today. Do you see the parallels found in our churches today?
Do you see the religious patterns still prevalent in the minds of religious people today? Here is one of the verses that Jesus heard read from the law and Jesus learned this verse in the temple so they could not deny that it was written there:
If it was not denied then, why should you and I denied it now.
In Psalm 119:130, the Bible said "The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple". The Word of God is light already and it it is not just going to be light today, tomorrow or next year. No, it is the entrance of that Word that giveth light and understanding. You are already a joint partakers of the divine nature of God, you are a partakers of that light but you need to accept the Light, which is the Word before the Light can shine in you and you can have more and beautiful understanding of the Word.
You are not the old person you used to be anymore. Behold, see, you are a new creation. That creation cannot be flesh anymore because you are already bought with a prize. The more you know the mystery of that prize that was paid for your Salvation, the more of you knowing who you are.
You are crucified with Christ, though you live but it is not you anymore, it is Christ that lives in you. So the life you live in the flesh now, you are living it with the faith of Christ who has already gave Himself for you.
Remember, the Word of God said, Phi 2:5-6; Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:(6)Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
You are already God handiwork in Christ Jesus but you must let the mind of Jesus Christ be in you. When this mind be in you, then you will not be tempted but you will activate your Son-ship and be GODS over everything here on earth.
Remember John the baptist said in John 3:27 that, "A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven." Go for the Holy Spirit. Let the Spirit -of the Father indwells you (Gal 5:22-23) and let it work upon you (1 Cor 12:7-11), then you will have more indepth of "WHO YOU ARE".
